Since HOL is down atm, I had a look at the Lemon page for Banshee and in the manual I found this :
Quote:
SCREEN DISPLAY
--------------

See the file SCREEN.IFF included in this archive.
Does anybody know where (or how) to get this file?

As far as i can remember, once you get the bombs they drop automatically and constantly. don't quote me on that, but thats what i can remember.

That's right, but it's a different powerup. I think humble worm is right about the 'keep weapons' effect, but I really want to know it for sure

finally got reason to take my cd32 out of wardrobe... (should have done it during CE round - keyboard sucks )

maybe this time (for a first time) I will reach space level ... I hope my joypad is going to make it

I can confirm it works. But you only keep your weapons if you had lit ALL 3 lights before you died! One light is turned off - but you keep all your stuff!

If you had 2 lights lit and die you have 1 light left and lose everything previously collected...

This explains that tip in the manual:

@humbleworm: I recommend one of these so you won't have to use your keyboard on your PC: http://www.amazon.de/USB-Single-Adap...5116375&sr=8-5 (almost everyone has an old PS1- or PS2-pad somewhere in his basement...)

This would explain the small 'B' on the powerup Good to know that for sure now, I thought I was missing something essential here

Doesn't the CD32 version have an extra two levels? I'm sure I've read before that it does.

dunno, never heard about it
maybe it is so - today I was suprised when I read on lemon that there are only 4 levels... always thought (imagined) that there is more than one space level (maybe thats because there are quite many space screenshots on HOL?)

I got only to the level 3 boss and to the moment it all seems the same as in lemon description (sea level, city level, desert-arctic level)

still I really hope there are no additional cd32 levels or the levels are in the end of the game

I am searching for evidence, nothing found yet - shame that HOL is down

Well I've read before there are extra levels, doesn't mean for certain that they exist - of course if there are then you won't be able to play the CD32 version I'm afraid as it is obviously different to the normal version

And of all the times for HOL to be down eh?

sorry, my english is not good enough to get it

if there are additional levels in the end (5,6) am I still not allowed to play it?
if I would submit screens of place where I was killed? It is not likely that i would get to those levels... i ask cause Im not going to play on winuae. and i doubt if there are any more differences (more points for kill an enemy or different level structure)...

Sorry, I meant that it's a rather inconvenient time for HOL to be down

I don't think it's a good idea to play a version that has such a fundamental difference, like you say there's unlikely to be any more differences but everyone has to be playing the same version gameplay-wise and there might well be other people who can get beyond level four and what then?

I'm sorry, it's highly unfortunate and quite a rare thing to happen... is there no way you can play the floppy version?

first lets make it clean if the levels exist at all

dunno, I just think that playing it up to level four in this situation would be ok...
nevermind, ofcourse I will obey the rules (have no choice) but first have to be sure if the dispute is not completely pointless

Ah yes that's a good idea, if there isn't more than four levels I'm going to look a little silly

Funny how Amiga Power's review mentions two extra levels though...? Ah well we'll go with the manual for now, unless anyone spots any different of course

as we say in poland "believe in what you read in papers and next winter you will wear sandals"

also checked cd32 "box" - got it at home, it is also on HOL -it says about "four massive levels" and not a word of extra levels
