can someone ANYONE fix the damn random crashes in this game? every version ive played ever even when it was new had stupid random crashes and bugs that ruined a damn fine game

it has nothing to do with the emu its a fault in every version of the game it doesnt happen in set places just sit and have a full game on ANY config youll see.
so far its happened on the original amiga 7 years ago or whatever (when it was new) my amiga 600 when i thought id download different versions to see if any were fixed. and my amiga 500 and amiga 1200 uae config |

Have you tried the WHDLoad version? I always had problems with the cracks.

Hmmm...my version never crashed. Not on my Amiga 500 and not on my 2000 .

Hmm... my WHDLoad version works great. I've managed too complete some levels without any problems but there are still some problems with music player.

I installed it from ADF on my A1200 using TSgui and WHDload. I've not got far into it but it seems okay. I think that you need the registered version of WHDload to play it though.

I always found the original rife with crashes.
The most common one was deafeating a random black knight and discovering he had the moonstone. This is a glitch, whatever you do, don't hover the mouse pointer over it or the amiga will go tits up. This has nothing to do with the emulator as it's always behaved this way. It's a great game, it's slow pace almost makes it like a strategy game, as you discover the various enemy weaknesses you can take advantage of, shame the original was so buggy. I just make plenty of save states and I'm able to play through the whole thing. |
