Thanks very much for providing some screenshots and info. for the game! The HOL team has received several requests in the last year or so to create new entries for PD/shareware/unreleased games, but you're one of the few people who have bothered to try and assist with the game requests they've made.....so big kudos to you!

I have to say that I really enjoyed the cool music in CheatMania and that it's a pity that Stylon Crew limited themselves to producing only a few stylish versions of old classic games on the Amiga. Anyway, here's the new HOL entry for CheatMania and you have been included in the contributors list for your efforts!

I realise that I've recently requested 3 x [unreleased] games to be added to HOL here: Please add these [unreleased] games to HOL ;-)

Usually I would provide screenshots etc. but have been a bit snowed under with other projects of late...

No rush mate - I'm snowed under every which way atm. Besides, I really wanted to pay credit where credit was due!

It doesn't hurt to remind people, though, that game requests are much more likely to be catered for if some assistance with screenshots, credits etc. is provided, especially with non-commercial games. At the end of the day HOL is a hobby project (which often is a lot of hard work and hosted free-of-charge by RCK), and team members do have real lives, commitments etc. to contend with.

Anyway, going back to CheatMania......highly recommend that people give it a whirl, if only just to listen to the cool music!!

As am I my friend; work commitments, coming home after long days at work, researching / adding / configuring new games to my collection, replying to / undertaking numerous requests from various members via PM for this and that

Yep, it's why I've never had any great desire to be a mod......I'd never get anything done on HOL/AMR etc. and I suspect it would start to interfere with real life eventually. Kudos to you for putting your hand up again for it!

Unfortunately, mods are a necessary evil since it's quite clear that self-moderation just doesn't work on net forums period (it sure didn't in usenet newsgroups prior to them!). I was very glad you put your hand up again for the job - I remember being on the verge of sending RCK an email expressing outright frustration concerning the EAB anarchy that was going on at the time.

It's just a great pity that important things like moderation get left to two or three key individuals, while others in the larger group seem to disappear for long periods in a given year (or completely, never to be seen or heard from again, after the initial novelty has worn off! <----- common occurrence with HOL/AMR recruits too BTW ;-p).
