JST problems

just wondering if there is a way around this.. when ever i open up a game like Shadow of the beast jst always tells me that i havent got enough memory.. ive tried fakemem and that dosent work.. so is there any other memory programs out there that would trick it into running sotb? or do i seriously need an upgrade..
ive got a standard a1200 HD comp if anybodys wondering

Try using the LOWMEM tooltype in the icon when running the game. JST will read disk images directly from hard disk, instead of caching them in memory.

HDLOAD does the same, expect for standard files, instead of disk images.

Otherwise, look for a cheap '030 accelerator e.g. the Blizzard or Viper and get some memory for it. When the memory for these accelerators were cheap, I got a 32 Mb SIMM, which is adequate for most things!

You should also use WHDLoad instead (www.whdload.de) - JST isn't supported anymore and most JST games are now converted to WHDLoad.
