BLITZ BASIC 2 mailing list help
struggling in the search of various examples and source codes, i've found on Blitz200 various blitz-lists message packs.
in particular the archive BlitzLstMay99.lha seems interesting in the guide file , there are various attachment, unfortunately encoded in ascii,it is possible to reconvert the "ascii attachment" to the equivalent binary ? for example : --=_=8<==MD23739704D-72A0B574==8<=_= Encoding: base64 Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="CrapFighter.lha" X-MD2-FilePath: Ram Disk:CrapFighter.lha KMUtbGg1LRQDAAA2BwAA712sJgAAEkNyYXBGaWdodGVyXENGLmFzY3TRAsNru8025E/O/gCKLlyC xwrbGEhVjeC27uW5TctbLtUt42QZaJSgWDypfjl+23AJcolVcA2aTkl7+nYpG9X7tF01K+yLXiDk OQZo5BxcAi5BfWupX3RuSpSQVRG9gCrSCdL2or8FhBUIwHjCCUjIChTYick8kgyxHcpO1SyTkoKc 4yyyAlMxQQcZBlIQWy3fUpP2soS8YWuxFGzxRam4MT5r4bvG3NxEMAlzRf9SpDXYKiPdD2QAW7+A GG2t4aXZrvFFFnpDVTTm4kl4EznxLx064tgzH8GOcj1cjr2jlkZr91WW66rlAQc7Npv6DQ2KQeoN nx6NIhddXk9fbZdD5vgdBhPPxA9KvBcy6JAIVyU0TEF/lm95ExHu6x4sonng2Chpm+9XMs/nKQAg bvoGSCZ/ZVW+CCCDmhMBCk+Vsy04Rro9ExV0c5wnabnKyLCqLDbVOFWo9qs/CbPRz6oAQf+m9Qfy 68FFZKK+ymmH0mLIvcP1bIuJdWND5hk4V1oMIZ5jiF+e9FSng0pBD06/r3foQurelCk9dV1u5Hq8 TodDjrwQTgu1FVc9noAUoyh0WcNjxFGYw9JsWGBIdIw5y6V8RuRRhlD5HEM/uUY8TC4xC7U2hicM +syEH+5bhySCyyM/Rvr0T0BLBzmzsExXbNu+zduBd/a+Bb5IGwTrh4pvbDxiSjP8GLxAs2P3NZoc etc etc, it seems usefull if we can reconvert the ascii data to the binary archive, to look inside anybody have an idea how to convert it? |

I wonder if you just need the right program to open it with? Looks like the kind of corruption I get when I open ascii files with Open Office.
I use Note Tab Lite for ascii files. It might help. But have you tried loading it into Blitz with load ascii? |

unfortunately it is a mail attachment converted to ascii | Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="CrapFighter.lha" <- the name of the attachment\/ some "genius" used YamToGuide to create an amigaguide of mail from the blitz-list and the relative attachment of the mail, instead of create the guide of the mails, and archive these attachments maybe with an hex editor i can grab the ascci of the lha and recreate the proper lha archive |

This is base64 encoded. Check Aminet for a base64 decoder, there are many.
