Thanks

I broke my entire configuration today I tried to install new icons (one of my other amiga existential problems), wich put so much mess you can't imagine. Dopus is such a great program, as long as you know what you're doing

Tommorow I'll have to reinstall the whole system and something like 1gb of data, thinking of amiga 1200 transfert rates it will be a real journey )

With these old systems you can do everything, but especially anything. I'm not sure it's something we can translate from french

But anyway, you can see that I'm having fun. Even if for now concerning coding, I didn't went further than "Print "hello world!" (and had bugs doing this! LOL )

I'll keep you informed about my so called "progress" during week end.

Hi,

I made a new try, with BetterWb pack, and with an ultimate blitz basic Cd, using the aminet special fixed installer. It worked like a charm, even the help and right amiga help !

Now I can't wait to receive my GBS8200 and start coding ! I already cleaned up my a1200 keyboard !

I'll post next "real" coding questions soon, for sure. Thanks for the help you already gave me.

Good to see you're on the way to getting stuck in. Blitz is a pretty capable language so I'm sure you'll enjoy getting to grips with it and I'll do my best to help if you get stuck with anything

Thanks !

I'm currently fixing the last details on my setup, and I hope I'll receive my GBS8200 before the end of the week. And then...Here we go !

I found the way to have a superted like this one :

http://obligement.free.fr/gfx/superted25.jpg

You have to open teddock (custom menu, be sure to have rexxxmast enabled in system), right clic on the dock, and in preferences, you can set the dock like you want (floating, bottom, right, top), like on modern systems. Pretty cool.

I also found the solution for the debbuger opening with the simple "print" example I was talking about. I simply saved the file first (for example, "test.bb2"), and then I compile and run. Now it's working correctly.

Last things I have to do, is to update Superted and debbuger. But now that it's working, I'm a bit scared ! LOL
