that damn message!
i'd just like to make it known to a certain project overlord, that the fact that typing "bloodwych" into a CLI on ClassicWB returns the message "... is the daddy!" is bloody annoying!!
Particularly when what you actually want to do is jump into a directory called "bloodwych"(of which i have quite a few) rather than read a comment about someone's parental responsibilities! i've had a quick look and i see it isnt an S: script or anything... so where is this little "gem" created and how do i turn the bugger off? anyway, even i will admit it was funny the first few times, but would appreciate a bit of insider knowledge here... |

Try typing "Fred likes to f**k" and you will end in the Bloodwych directory

LOL! I was hoping someone would find that!
It's easy to remove - go to the top left Settings->Startup->Shell menu (or double click the "s/shell-startup" file) and remove the line Alias that connects Bloodwych to... ...you guessed it... THE DADDY!!!! In the green alien workbench 2.1, it has no "bloodwych" alias, but has some extra lines if you type in "paul" or "green". Dizzy, I'll add an alias for you in the next release. Wonder what it'll be.... |
