1989 Hall of Fame nominations
This should get real big real fast. Lets have the nominations for the best amiga game of 1989. To get started here are the games I think might win it:
California Games Ghouls 'N Ghosts It Came From The Desert Maniac Mansion Populous Sim City Stunt Car Racer I'll run the full poll in about a week, and I'll just include everything that gets a mention. |

Is there any chance to let 2 votes go down this time around? Theres so many games that deserve to be voted for and one is just not enough!
IMO North and South kicks ass ;-) |

Yeah it's very hard emuchicken - I must have sat in the last threads for ages trying to decide. The system only accommodates one vote though, so be prepared for some hard thinking.
However this year is going to be easy for me! - thank you Burseg! Although not many people recognise Bloodwych as a classic, I take heart from noticing its name popping up in "best ever" or similar positive threads on other boards such as Amiga.org. It's usually mentioned by someone with a surprised attitude that no one really knows about it. And then everyone else just ignores the post! True classic, but you had to complete it in 2-player mode to appreciate its charms. |

Many arcade conversions in 89 weren't very good like altered beast and dragonninja but that's my opinion. I loved the originals

Wow, its going to take some time to type this lot into a poll. So expect many many spelling mistakes as I have a nasty habit of starting these things at 2am.
Good list so far, I was going to put them in a nice alphabatised list here but there are just too many. KG: Second best type of poll on EAB, if I added some play on word jokes would it elevate it to being the best? OH ok KG here you go (games nominated so far) Action Fighter Arkanoid 2 - Revenge of Doh Bad Dudes vs. DragonNinja Barbarian II Battle Squadron Beach Volley Blood Money Bloodwych Bomb Jack Bubble Bobble Budokan Cabal California Games Chabers of Shaolin Chase HQ Chuckie Egg II Clown-o-mania Commando Deja Vu 2: Lost in Las Vegas Denaris Dogs Of War Double Dragon Double Dragon II Dragons Lair Elite Elite+ (is there a difference?)
