Killergorilla would be proud. If he would visit EAB more often (lazy little sucker).

Well indeed I do, perhaps it's different versions which could explain why killergorilla added them in the first place.
If somebody could give them a spin and see if they're unneeded I'd appreciate it. I have no time for testing right now as I have letter G lined up for work. |

Iirc for some games there weren't original images available. I wouldn't delete all of them without checking.

Right, G is done.
Magic Lines & RoadBlasters is installed and tested using original SPS images so they will be added and cracked removed. Time for a break. [edit] All _Cracked removed, compatible originals is available for all of them. Last edited by Retroplay; 22 February 2017 at 21:16. |

Thanks, you're speeding through these ! Are you missing the game 'The Brain Blasters' ? I see you have the French version 'The Teller'. Also, what are your thoughts on the datfile ? Will it just be name and filesize based, because you couldn't really check the contents because of illegal characters and empty folders etc.

Yes I do have it, SPS 2643.
[edit] Nevermind, figured it out. The dat will be based on .lha size and checksums, files inside will be ignored and left completely out of Windows thus rebuilding using older archives will not be possible. [edit] BrainBlasters added to B. Last edited by Retroplay; 23 February 2017 at 18:39. |

Haha that's a bit of a stretch I'd say.
I've moved the dats to my FTP folder, it's easier to maintain and I don't have to edit OP almost daily. |

This is really impressive, thanks for sorting out dats as well.
How did you get through them all so quickly? Do you have a checklist or spreadsheet or something so that everything (tooltypes, icons, etc.) is up to standard? |

No, everything was checked manually, that and a lot of free time lately.
There wasn't much to do, it was just some of the early 2008-09 zip archives I made I found a few boo-boos in. Also due to a strange bug in lha, Zine #11 is compressed as an lzx archive. The file "data" in data dir is one of a kind apparently, lha can compress it but can't extract it. I have checked every single archive and they all extract fine... and for the demos, no more directory name clashes. Emerald Mines CD is available as lha & Lzx, this is just a precaution. Lha 2.12 & 2.15 can't compress the archive but 2.11 can, all lha versions can extract it though. But to be on the safe side an lzx is available too just in case. |
