Micromys 4 better cable

Was bothered from bad contact with the micromys adapter, because the 9-Pin in the A600/1200 sit deeper than the case. So it's not possible to get fitting contact with the metal plug and the A600 does not have screws to pull the contacts together. So the solution was to change the cable to half of a joystick extender.



Inside the micromys is a 10 pin double row with a plug, here you can squeeze the new cables. Pin 7 as ground metal is not used, so 1-6 and 8-10 must be connected. Result: Perfect fit

I don't understand why commercial mouse adaptors either use a stiff housing plugged directly into the mouse port or a cable made for serial ports. All adaptors I make use at least a flat cable.
