This approach works only with automated guns with limited ammunition (i.e. three or four bullets on a stick). The automated gun in the picture has unlimited ammunition, so if you squat, you're trapped.

That's the exact position that I'm stuck at.

It tracks vibrations, i.e. it starts flashing and beeping if something in the current room is vibrating. Usually, these are either Stammos (the big worms) hidden in the floor, or a trapdoor.

I didn't know that. I haven't got that far and I thought that maybe it will do the trick.

First, you need to trigger the trap in the floor in front of the MG, the big worm comes out and blocks the shots of the MG for a few secounds, then you can quickly jump to the right.

This game is not exactly easy to play and Enemy 2 is the sequel to the first game, it might be wise to try the first game and then start with the second.

We (me, my brother and my son) have played it a few days ago a little bit, and we ties up to level 7.

A few codes from the German version could help you with this issue (only for frustrated users )

Press joystick short up twice, in fast succession.
As long as your character has contact with the ground, you can choose the direction of your jump by pressing left or right (if both directions are possible).

No, but you can just copy all files from disk A and B into a created directory (no matter what name) of your harddisc (merge subdirectories with same name). Then start the main program (ENEMY2).

These screen shots remind me a lot of the old Sega Master System game Zillion. Can't wait to check these out!

Yes. My name is André Wüthrich, and Enemy 1 was my 'baby'. Enemy 2 was created in corporation with David Röskamm.

Great stuff, man. Cool that people still support the Amiga. You should set up donations account on paypal

Hmmm tried running the game from HDD (A1200 here) and the graphics are messed up. Works ok if I play the game from bootable floppy. Any ideas? Thanks

Well, I've built (old generic slave) a WHDLoad version of E2 for myself. It works well, even with my Blizzard 1240

Hmmm will try it with WHLoad without loading Workbench. I have ClassicWB so that takes quite a bit.

The author of Traders and Locomotion?

It's always great to see that commercial authors of the past have still fun in doing Amiga games. Seems that buying Traders about 20 years ago was a good investment.

Oh Traders, Locomotion.... this was such a long time ago.
At that time was the glorious era of the Amiga.
