For this pack, correct. But for the next one, there is an opportunity. Think again to my proposal and meynaf's one .
But please, keep the idea I submitted you ONLY for you (I am already working on it and will send it to you within a week or two (as I indicated to meynaf in another thread, I do not have a lot of spare time so do what I can )).

Hey Akira ! I do not agree !!
I had the chance to be connected when Damien was proposing his pack. It does not mean I am a bad guy !

It's possible so the best answer is to stay right on the legs !

Unless the perp has balls to take a step forward and own up to the deed, you're all criminals

Totally agree what everybody says, It is a shame to see someone as dedicated to the Amiga scene as DamienD is go. Ive come back from the old days of the Amiga and loving every minute of it. And to see someone spoil it for everyone, especially Damien (I think everybody would be in the same shoes as him at the minute). Take a break from it all don't through the towel in mate, everybody appreciates what you do (apart from the person who leaked). Karma is good it may take some time but a name will come through the Internet is not that big.

Oh man, this is really sad. I am relatively new to EAB (had been lurking for a bit) but when I started posting here DamienD welcomed me with open arms. At first it was a tad intimidating posting to a group with members who have been here for years and who have formed close relationships over time, but that silly feeling was immediately extinguished by DamienD's friendliness and warmth. He has been extremely generous with his time and incredible efforts. I am absolutely blown away by all of his projects. The time and effort he has put in blows my mind. DamienD is a key player in the Amiga community and one of the first people I think of when I think about the community. Thanks for everything you do and I hope you change your mind, but if you don't I wish you all the best and would love to keep in touch. DamienD is top notch.

I don't really understand, the thing that got leaked you were going to release for free anyway?

I don't think you should leave because just one or two jerkholes. I mean if everyone quit the scene every time one person pissed them off there wouldn't be anyone left.

Yeah ok... but can you not understand that I'm annoyed that my *private* / decade of work collection (which was originally only intended for me but then I shared with all my EAB brothers' / sisters' free) got leaked to some random torrent site?

...and since then I've been getting all kinds of abuse / shite from people who aren't even interested in the Amiga yet are hell bent on uploading everywhere they see fit.

Not to mention, someone I trust on EAB then gave away my Update Pack #1 to these scumbags?

Sorry, I found the other thread and understand now. I thought it was a "released before it was done" not "released to the public when it was supposed to be private, or by donation". Yes that would irk me for sure.

Sorry to hear that all you good work has been spread without your consent It looked very very cool and something I was intending on asking for and trying out. Now some selfish idiot has ruined it for the rest of us and caused you some seriously undeserved irritation and grief

I am one of those you kindly shared it with but I wouldn't upload it anywhere without your express permission. Besides, I've not used torrents for years now. It's pretty shit that someone has gone behind your back and uploaded your hard work somewhere but it's absolutely not something I would ever dream of doing. I hope you can find out who the culprit is because it's not a good situation.

Please don't quit EAB though Damien as you are one of the best, most genuine people on this forum.

Same here, I haven't used a torrent for over six years, and my current ISP blocks torrents

Hahahahaha

...not going to happen.

I'm a classic Amiga guy and love old school cracktros / trainers as that's what I grew up with

Plus, in emulation there is no need to endure boring loading times:

  • Set "Floppy Drive Emulation Speed" to "800%" (which works fine for 95% of games).
  • Toggle "Warp" mode on / off i.e. <End> + <Pause>.

There's nothing like the churning sound of a Chinon floppy drive to bring back the memories of old.

Sorry to hear your collection was leaked in that way Damien, some folk have no respect
