Need help in couple of AmigaBASIC codes
I have written three games from the Compute's First Book and Compute's Second Book and two of them I have issues with it and one of them I need someone to add a feature into it.
The game chain reaction and Beehive is buggy. The game laserchess I want someone to add a computer AI into the game. A) Beehive: In the beehive it is not plotting the player graphics correctly and no one is able to win or lose because the check for winning/losing is not working. So I can just plot anywhere in the board and fill it and nothing happens. Feature request: I wondering if someone can add a feature into the game where you play against the computer and not just the player and the computer is smart and challenging. B) Chainreaction: In chainreaction the bug is against the computer. After a while the computer goes until end of time thinking mode. Sometimes there is graphics glitches when plotting the bombs and or declare winning when you have not won yet. Feature request: I am wondering if someone can work with me in adding online feature with chat. Not important but would be cool to play against another Amiga player and chat against that player. Of course this is between Amiga consoles and not crossed between Amiga and PC/Mac/Linux. C) Laserchess: No bugs. Feature request: I wondering if someone can add a feature into the game where you play against the computer and not just the player and the computer is smart and challenging. Are you interested in learning to code ?
If you are at all you would be much better served learning how to fix these things. Adding computer AI to a chess game is a massiveundertaking. I am not too sure what you expect here ? |

As for the AI feature it is extra request and hoping someone will help in it. In AI I suck bad, so bad that my own tic tac toe I am unable to do it. So forget the AI for now...but I do need someone to take the code and find the bug that I cannot find or keep missing. If someone can help me, that will be greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance. |

In Compute!'s AMIGA Applications you had to set the preferences for an 80 character screen.
Otherwise all the graphics would be distorted and wouldn't show properly. Do you need to do that with these programs? |
