Searching RPG/Adventure

Im searching a game from around 1990. It has a darker medieval setting. It has nice graphics, thats why it should be a known game. One fullscreen picture in a cut-scene shows a dead body with a grub/maggot crawling on its face (through nose and animated).
I also searched through hundreds of games.
I remember a topdown map in towns with roofs of buildings, but its been a while, it could be another game.

Here is a similar picture from Abandoned Places 2. The game im searching the death body lies on ground towards you. Also there was no red all over and more colors. The game is also is not Burntime, more a common Adventure or Rpg.

There are not so many RPGs with a top downmap. The ones I know are Amberstar, Ambermoon

You are right, but i looked for both games too and they are too modern. They look five years ahead or so.
I also must say its been a while so please forget what i said about the map.

No. I also watched a longplay of elvira and i would remember if i played it as a kid.
