I enjoyed Freax - it took me back... I think it was released in about 2006, so I guess this is the second edition announcement?
Sure there was some stuff in there that might have been opinionated, but it's always fun to see a different side and the enthusiasm came right out through the book. Didn't see many downright wrong things! Last edited by chiark; 27 August 2008 at 16:56. |

I enjoyed it too. Took me back to the days when many of my friends had an Amiga and we were enjoying it together.

The book is "pretty", but it is not a great read, or at least wasn't for me. Should at least have got someone to check the grammar, and it does have a fair amount of factual errors, which I think stems from the books "knowledge" primarily coming from various websites which have mistakes (including mine)
Works quite well as a loo book though. I recommend the Commodore book for a great bedtime read though. That is excellent. |
