Where to get Workbench from?

Hey everyone,

brought an Amiga A500 on eBay which came with a selection of games etc but no workbench disks

I'm assuming it will require Workbench 1.3, where would I be able to get workbench from?

I've done a search on Amikit and eBay but no luck. I would like to get a workbench disk for the extras to transfer ADF to my Amiga and what not

Dunno if you can extract the individual workbench disks from the CD/ISO or not, but it may be worth asking them how easy it is to get them onto floppy for a real Amiga.

ive checked but need workbench to get ADF onto disk from what i've seen

I've googled, not found much except an old ebay listing for 1.3, i've messaged the seller in case has another set

Ebay Link for 1.3 CDTV workbench disks, i assume these will be the same as the a500 version but best to make sure first

Ebay Link for 1.2 Workbench disks for A500.
I don't know what the difference between 1.2 and 1.3 disks are so might want to check on that too

Amiga Forever definitely includes the ADF for Workbench 1.3, think it also includes the Extras 1.3 ADF, but can't remember for sure.

i purchased 1.2, shall see if it works when they arrive

Unfortunatly need physical disks, i need the disks to use the serial port to copy ADF images to the amiga to put onto floppys lol. Assuming I can get the A500 to trans from pc onto disk :S esp as its only got 512k ram from what i can tell

I have a few sets of these Disks, can't be 100% sure if they are 100% working as they're 20years old but you can have one FOC, can't promise to post them before the weekend though as I'm away Friday/Saturday.

I have a box of postage paid envelopes here so just need your address on PM and then I can post

You may run into problem with getting the software to do transfers over to the pc, I think it was wb2.0 that included crossdos to read pc disks, unless some nice soul on here will send you a disk with appropriate transfer software already on it
