EDIT: I didn't see the bug at first because I usually associate Subpixel emulation with Resolution=SuperHires (to see all the 35ns pixels). But if you select Subpixel and Resolution=Hires(normal), the vertical stripe appears. Last edited by ross; 19 November 2019 at 21:34. |

It looks like upper right "hole" was also on the A1200 floppy version? It may be not a WHDLoad bug... (At 9:00 a hi-res section)

Will test many games with the last build and report if I see something strange.

Max usable overscan system settings: DDFSTRT=$18, DDFSTOP=$d8, FMODE=3 and Subpixel emulation active. No problem on official PB5 or with no Subpixels display. |

Hello folks, i have contacted CFOU, because both fixes from Toni & him do not work on my 1200 for Shadow of the Beast. The Beast logo and the trees are disabled by default, and instead i have some corruption on screen.

I tested it with real A4000 + 68040 or 68060 (don't remember which one was installed when I tested it).
Photo would be much more useful than text that basically says "it does not work" |

First my configuration : A1200 + Blizzard 030 @ 50mhz + 32mb of fast.
the beast logo and the trees are replaced by a whitish band of corruption in the middle of the screen. I will post a screen once back from work. |

Happens in real world too (A4000 + 68060). Oddly enough whdload version without preload does not have it but with preload it appears. Exact same behavior in emulation too.

When you use PRELOAD there is no more the usual 'black screen' to do a scatter loading. During this flashes the COP2LC is (re)set to $1000 that contain a CEND and is no more set to a valid ptr for the COLOR00 synced gradient that on AGA do the half pixel bug. |

have you test with NoCache tooltype (not needed on 060) Can you sen to me your installed to verify disk image? =>perhaps corrupted indeed this type of GFX corruption can not be caused by both sub-pixel fixes it's data corruption Last edited by CFou!; 17 December 2019 at 13:10. |

Too many unknown variables. IMHO it is much better for someone to upload confirmed working archive.
