More seriously, I have never used the TOSEC database in a rom/disk image manager. And it has been while since I used one of those.
However I think I remember romcenter (at least for SNES) used a system of entries a bit similar to the parent/clone system you can see in MAME or other arcade emus.
If that is the case with Amiga Tosec, things would be easier.

As far as I know this info isn't contained in Amiga TOSEC. Maybe PandMonium knows something about it though.
HOL lists 5488 games as commercial, but there are some with different names listed, so I would say the number of commercial games is between 5000 and 5300 (very rough figure ). Maybe Cody has a better number for us

The idea of 50 most favourite games = retarded. Count all the votes Only 12 people voted and I spent 3 hours counting. But the guys who wasted their time making their lists deserve the results I think.
