Lost amiga titles from Germany

Here´s a list of announced, but never published games. Perhaps anybody does know what happend to them (and, of course, just for fun because I have nothing else to do right now) and perhaps somebody is interested in this :-)

Hard Lines – Kingsoft announced that 1988/89 including Screenshot. Price: 29,95 DM in the magazin Powerplay

Galactic Dance – Kingsoft, too. The magazine Powerplay printed a screenshot with the Headline „Aliens im Dreivierteltakt“

Barney Mouse – Kingsoft presented the animations of the game in the magazine ASM in Spring 1989. Was there ever a commercial realize ?

Industrial Rebound from Magic Bytes – The Amiga Joker printed a short text about the game in 1991/1992 with Screenshot. They also named the following two Magic-Bytes-games

American Journeys and European Journeys – There was a preview in the magazine ASM with 2 screenshots and also an announcement including the package design in one issue of the Amiga Joker. Unfortunetly Magic Bytes went bankrupt a short time later.

Kayden Garth from EAS – ST- and C-64-Versions are existing, the Amiga-Version was announced, but never finalized ?

Advantage from EAS: In 1990 the magazine ASM printed a short notice including one Screenshot, but nothing more.

Again EAS with a strange case: They announced in Spring 1989 some new games, „The Black Magic“ and „Roll-Out“ (both realized) and another game. Unfortunetly they only print the package designs and EAS had a preference to use fonts which are hardly to read, so I don´t know if the unknown game was called Hangar, Wrangler, Hangler, Wanger or whatsorever.

EAS also announced the jump´n´Run „Magic“ and the Jungle Olympics in the Magazine ASM (2 Screenshots) – the last game had a different name in a french magazine, there it was called Animal Games.

Emerald Mine 4 from Kingsoft – Kingsoft wrote me one day that they´re working on it – but it never appears ?

Turbo Star Grand Prix from Turtle Byte - announced 1988 including Screenshots and package design, a racing simulator with construction kit - did this ever see the shops ?

Nice list Valaxuna!

Concerning Barney Mouse: I know that the game exists, but I´ve never seen a commercial version, package or something like that. Was is really released or is the existing version a unauthorized copy ?

Another one:

Rock´n´roll 2 - There was a great preview in one issue of the Amiga-Magazin and that was the only one I´ve ever seen of it...

Thanks, found that review yesterday in the Amiga Joker.
Indeed: Corx-the Rebel Racer.

(BTW:silly advert)

[edit]
Does anyone know if there is a difference between german
and english Corx box?

If there is no differnence, then the http://hol.abime.net/3698 link
is obsolete.

Stick out tongue

Well, update time. Valaxuna sent me a scan of an EAS advert with that one game in question. There is really hardly any chance to determine the actual game title.

Could also be MANGLER from "to mangle" = "to squeeze". Anything is possible [tm].

Happy guessing

Galactic Dance looks pretty nice. I would love to see a least a playable demo version.

Yeah, that screenshot is succulent. Hunt down those Kingsoft releases/previews, I say! Check with ex Amiga magazine editors, they may have received some interesting disks....
