Lumberjack Reloaded - Enhanced version of a previous C64/Amiga release!

Quote:
As we said before in our previous article last year via the CSDb database, the Megastyle, Protovision & Atlantis group released the C64 homebrew game of ' Lumberjack ', which put you in the mighty boots of a Lumberjack chopping down trees as fast as he can, without being bashed by the big branches above. It was a highly addictive game on the C64 that was later ported over to the Amiga as an almost 1:1 conversion thanks to Cobe and Lemming880. But now thanks to a great heads up by Solo Kazuki, an enhanced version is being developed titled as "Lumberjack Reloaded".

Totally agree Akira, definitely looks awesome now

...though I do get that the older version is supposed to be a C64 conversion and it's cool also.

This Lumberjack game is originally a mobile game, not a C64 game. So this new version looks a bit more close to the original.
Actually I never knew which one was the original, but here's just one of them, from 2014

I know, but I am saying, the C64 game is based off a mobile game that existed before.
It's not a C64 original.

Now it does thanks to Koyot's awesome gfx.

Previous version is just c64 conversion. Neither Lemming nor I didn't know of Timberman and other mobile games until Koyot pointed that to us but however I only saw a picture of Timberman, I didn't want not even to watch it on yt so it wouldn't have influence on me or spoil my vision of Lumberjack.

I thought we're gonna keep this version a little longer as a secret but it just slipped our hands

@Neil
Could you change download link in your article to this:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bw...d6MlEzdl9uakxn

the only difference is that in this version there's prerelease written on title screen and during game.

@zzbylu
also if that's your video it would be nice if you would change the download link too. Dzieki!

...so I have to ask. This is a pre-release, what's left to add / do before the final release (or is that a secret)?

No secrets left maybe little changes on the title screen, add title music for sure, maybe tweak a gameplay if people complain on the same thing, not like it's too hard cause its suppose to be hard but something more specific. And if someone finds some bug god forbid I'll have to remove it.
