Startup Errors on Classic Lite

Hi All,

I am having startup errors on the WB Classic Lite. I ported it over to a A600 and i have 2 errors that i cant seem to get rid of in the startup sequence or other script files.

- Freewheel, Program Failed (#80000004) which i suspend
- Copper, same error which i suspend

There is also a Run menu on the bottom of the screen that i am trying to get rid of.

I was also getting errors with Dopus which refused to run on anything less than a 68020, so i reverted to Dopus V4.0 and it worked (although it refused to import the config so i had to redo all the buttons i wanted). I ran CFD and am now able to see my 8 gig CF card in my pcmcia slot so i can now send my ADF images to floppy with ease (motherboard V1.5, 3.1Kickstart

CAn anyone point me in the right direction to get rid of the copper Demon which i am assuming was only meant to be run on an A1200 and the freewheel error ?

Thanks

Kipper

edit, there also seems to be a lot of memory hungry items installed on startup as by the time it loads i've used 0.8mb meaning a basic 1mb A600 would be pretty well crippled (i have 2mb). Anyone with thoughts on what can be removed ?

Removing the Copper and Freewheel tools from System:WBStartup should do the trick. But why don't you try ClassicWB 68K?

ClassicWB 68K is optimized for A500+/A600 machines. Give it a try.

i tried classicWB 68K (using 2mb chip config) and with the basic installation works fine.

When i open Opus on a 1mb config it runs out of memory so it looks like some non essential items need to be removed. It would be nice to be able to be able to use PCMcia drivers, opus, run adf from within opus and be able to unzip adfs using a stock 1mb machine. yeah yeah, i could probably do that from command line but i'm lazy
