Roll eyes (sarcastic) Running in a window

Just used Winfellow for the first time today. I tried to run it in a window but it is incredibly slow and grinds my computer to a near halt! (P4 1.5 GHz). Does everyone else have this problem or is it only me

Running any emulator, or in fact any PC game (if capable) within a Window using Windows is going to make it slower.

As well as having to refresh the game graphics constantly it also has to refresh all the windows on the screen, thet taskbar etc...

Full-screen is much quicker as it doesn't have to worry about any of that and just restores it all once you close the game.

If you really want to get max performance and want to use the game in a Window close any program you have running before starting the game and most important change your screen resolution & no of colours.

But it's much simpler just running full-screen !

Smile Hmm, seems OK now...

Just tried it again, and its seems to be OK. I'm getting about 50 fps where as before I was getting about 1 or 2 fps! I did have a few other applications running at the same time though, so maybe that was the cause. Anyway, thanks for the advice.
