Hacker 1 ADF?

Hi guys,

Does anyone have an ADF of Hacker (http://hol.abime.net/645) that I could make a usable floppy from for play on my A1000?

I found only /Commodore_Amiga/TOSEC/Games/[ADF] (TOSEC-v2012-12-24_CM)/H/Hacker (1985)(Activision)[b].zip It may not be bad dump but game may require Kickstart 1.2

There is no proper cracked Hacker ADF yet. IPF or WHDLoad only.

I made a disk from the TOSEC adf and tried it with Kickstart 1.1 and 1.2 -- neither worked...

Could an ADF be created from the IPF or WHDLoad versions?

The one in tosec is a copy of the original but hasnt actually been cracked or decrypted

So, resurrecting my old thread to see if anyone's cracked this game so I can play it from a physical floppy. I'd really like to be able to play it on the machine I originally played it on in 1986...

Perhaps you could find someone with a Kryoflux who could write the IPF to a floppy. It should work, however it will still be copy protected like the original. I could do it, however the shipping to US will probably be quite expensive and I am not confident a floppy disk could survive such a trip well.

Alternatively you can convert the IPF to HFE format and use a Gotek floppy emulator to load the image.

I made a fully working crack (which works on all Amigas) more than 6 years ago already O_o. But never released it as I had no inspiration for a crack intro. Should really fix that one of these days...

I'd certainly be glad if you did. (I don't want to modify my A1000 to use a Gotek...)

Unfortunately, it's a fully working PAL only version. So, I still don't have a way to run this game on my NTSC A1000. But it's a step closer--thanks for pointing it out!
