Roll eyes (sarcastic) Can we talk about ACA500Plus?

Hi folks,
sorry for my little english.
I've just bought and received an ACA500plus accelerator card for my Amiga 500, but I noted that has a very limited manual. Apart from that, I would learn more about the use of CF cards.
From what I understood the AUX slot is only for the transfer of files to a Windows PC and vice versa. Conversely, the boot slot is only limited to an use as HDrive, right? Or is it possible to use it as GOTEK drive as well?
I would appreciate also a link to a more detailed manual or just discuss with you about its characteristics or your impressions.
Thank you in advance for any help.

No, you can't use it as a floppy emulator. The Boot card is similar to the A600/1200 internal IDE connector and the AUX card is for FAT32 formatted cards that you can use to transfer data from a modern computer.

Have you already checked the Individual Computers wiki?

Hi, thank you very much for your reply.
I didn't know that link, I will surely have a look.
About Aux slot I just discovered that it can works as a single floppy.
I copied the entire content (files and dirs) of a WB 1.3 disk to an amiga formatted CF, inserting it in the aux slot (insted of boot slot).
After I switched "aux slot on" in ACA menu (F10->F7) and I was really surprised of the outcome because WB has been run as on a floppy!

I tried also inserting the CF with WB inside in the "CF boot slot", I hoped that the CF was handled at the same way as in the other slot (considering that it is a boot slot for formatted amiga CF...) but the CF has been totally ignored. Why?

About this I would like to know better the difference in comparison to the "amiga boot CF slot". Can the latter be used only as HDisk?
Thank you for any reply.

Yes you can talk about the ACA500plus, but maybe use the existing thread for it? http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?...ght=aca500plus
