I meant disable the internal connector on machines that have one and see if the external connector uses DF0:.

ACA 620 allows disabling internal and using external as df0.

How is that done? I have an ACA620 but have not noticed that feature anywhere. Also I don't see how it is possible since it has nothing to do with the controllers.

Sorry, I ment ACA630. It was one of the main features if you had to remove your floppy drive because of early indivision.

Times before in the forum it has been posted that if you are willing to cut some traces and do some work, you can put a switch to make DF1: DF0: and viceversa. But it's not a task for the faint of heart and/or inexperienced. That is the proper way to do this.

Quote from here if any help- http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/...oducts_id=1003

""If you have removed your internal floppy drive in favour of an Indivision ECS, the ACA630 can assist in two ways to get around the long wait that's caused by the missing drive: You can either build a completely floppy-less system by setting the No Disk jumper, or you can turn an external floppy drive into the df0: drive, which lets you boot games and other track-loading programs.""
