A500 GURU Errors After Cold Start

Newly acquired A500 having strange issues that only seem to happen after a cold start. In my testing I'm using Turrican II, from a cold start the intro will load and eventually get the the Turrical II logo. Hit the joystick and get a GURU meditation error. Perform a warm reset and each time after there is no error, the game loads and runs properly.

Also have sound issues with some other games, Marble Madness after level 2 or so starts having choppy audio. I have at least 2 demo disks that won't load, Spaceballs State of the Art loads the first image then hangs.

Wondering if this is all leading up to a chip causing my problems?

KS 1.2, 512K, no trapdoor RAM.

Yes, I remember same problem with State of the Art with incorrect memory configuration. You have older Amiga 500 with KS 1.2, newer have 1.3, it can make some problems too.

I dug through my box of old hardware and found 2 KS 1.2 ROMs, neither of which fix the problems... so...

Where can I get a KS 1.3 ROM for a decent price in the US?
