The attached image was created using Deluxe Paint. How can I get the same result using Windows programs? Any help will be much appreciated.

Photoshop CS2 has a feature called Vanishing Point that you could use to create a similar effect, see attached image.

with any Photoshop or Gimp:
do draw/write your text to be repeated; you want then colour it or apply effects to it. if the image is now on level or it uses fonts, flat it to a single layer. resize the canvas where you are working on to a bigger size, like about 10 times bigger in any directions, clone or copy/paste the text part to cover your canvas. you can do that also by select your original image, save it as a pattern, then fill a whole big layer with that. thenset your horizont line, copy all your image to a second layer or make a bakground black layer. then deform/free transform your text :two anchor points will go on the horizont line, two others will go out the image margins. |
