Classicwb FULL and Chaos Engine AGA?

Hi has anyone who has installed classicwb FULL and downloaded Chaos Engine AGA? found the game runs smoothly through the intro and when starting a new game the musics runs nice and choosing your two characters but when the game actually begins it runs sooooo slow ?

Have you tried running it from the multiboot menu, or from a Workbench startup:

Just to rule out anything in the main ClassicWB itself causing issues.

I have CWB Full and CE AGA runs fine for me... I remember having problems with an older WHDLoad version of CE AGA - I downloaded the latest version and all was well... what version of CE AGA are you running and which version of WHDLoad itself do you have...?

Hi i have just downloaded the non AGA vers of chaos engine and tried that and it does seem more playable than the AGA vers but it still feels like its lacking in speed? I love this game and played it on the amiga loads of times and no way is it this slow? NORMALLY!

The WHDLOAD i am using is the one in classiswb full

I have got the non AGA version of chaos engine from the same place and thats on my a500+ HD with classicwb 68k and it runs great? The AGA version on the a1200 is so slow and the non AGA vers runs slightly better ????

Are you sure? It runs fine here. By "are you sure" I mean, at the start of the game, before powering up, the characters move MUCH slower than they do later in the game after being powered up a few times. You could be remembering how they moved later in the game.
