Utility for sticky menus
I need an app which implements sticky menus on my miggy, i.e. right click, menus stay and left click to choose.
I cant seem to find a proper one in aminet, and magicmenu has a conflict or something with click2front, the latter stops working and the only way to get it back is by stoping magicmenu. Any ideas? |

Well, they do in my setup. I think it has something to do with AmiRC too... (It's menus seem to "dissapear" some times) ;-)

Although better than click2front, problem remains... |

There are a number of different versions of Window2Front, i use ONE of them but don't remember which one...but MagicMenu works with sticky menus

In that case, your problem probably has nothing to do with click2front or WindowToFront.
MagicMenu has problems sometimes because of the way Intuition handles menus - see MagicMenu documentation under "Dangers". Try holding down Ctrl before using menu in Amirc. You'll get the normal (non-sticky) intuition menu, but at least nothing will freeze. I don't think you'll find another menu replacement that will do what you want. |

I had conflict problems with an earlier version of Magic Menu.
However surely you use the last version, don't you? |

Have you tried e.g. the "non-blocking" option in MagicMenu?

Hi Thomas,
does pretty much what I want, although I guess it would be hard to extend it to either close or select something from the menu with a right click? I understand that it might be completelly different thing to do than what this utility does now. |

I know that this is different from what this utility does (leaves the right button in a clicked=not released state). Nevermind really |

Added, please download again. Multi-select is now done by holding down the Shift key rather than using the left mouse button. And holding down the Alt key disables the utility temporarily (just like Magic Menu).

I have not tried it yet but it sounds AWESOME!
Does Middle Mouse Button also unstick the RMB like the LMB does? If not, please add that for me. |
