Alegro CDFS ?

Im at moment trying to Install Alegro CDFS but when i click on the install icon its asking for "Installer" from C: I checked to see if it was there and all i found was "install" in the C directory.

From memory wasnt installer an updated and better script you could add yourself ?.. and if so, where do i get it ?

"Installer" is the program which interprets installation scripts. It was invented by Commodore and is used for Workbench installation since AmigaOS version 2.0. As such it is contained on the Install disk of each Workbench release since then. Unfortunately it is not copied to HDD during installation, so you have to copy it manually.

However, the version 40 as contained on the Install3.1 disk is quite old nowadays, so using the update from Aminet (version 43) is the best choice.
