X1000 live demonstration @ Amiga North Thames 11th December
From Amiga.org:
Want to see the new Amiga X1000 running Amiga OS4.x in action? Thanks to Stephen Jones and Hyperion Entertainment - You can! Come and see the fastest Amiga ever built, being put through its paces Next Weekend, 11th of December 2011. Amiga North Thames will be playing host to the AmigaX1000 Demonstration in Enfield, London UK, Doors Open from 13:00 until 16:00 UK time, everyone welcome. Admittance is free, Refreshments provided. (Donations to club funds welcome though!) For details of Venue, please visit http://www.amiganorththames.co.uk ------------- This was posted by user Mikey C who I think is the guy who runs the ANT club, but I dont think he is a member here. The venue address is: St. Mary Magdalene Vestry Windmill Hill, Enfield, Middlesex. EN2 7AJ. Their website is out of date, the venue is still correct but the meeting dates are wrong, ANT have meetings every 2nd Sunday of every month, from 1PM til 5PM. If you are interested then this should be worth the trip to the ANT meeting Please dont use this thread for any negative comments towards the X1000. |

Anyone planning to go? Can't get the 11th off work... Maybe someone could get some videos of the event?
I am looking forward to the x1000 and I am seriously considering it! |

Too far for me to go but if you're able to take some pictures and post them with a brief report that would be appreciated.

Yep, as with RMK, it's a little too far (plus I have an audition on that date), so any pics (or prefereably vids) will be gratefully received.
@fitzsteve - will you be able to get close to the AmigaX1000 while resisting the temptation to severely mod it??? |
