Final update on this, very very very close! No no cigar this time.
516 backers £31,420 of 33k pledged (£1,580 short of funding) I'm sure the gang will regroup and re-arm, and voyage on to a successful kickstarter next time. If everyone who pledged last time pledges again, it may mean they are almost funded from day 1, and then comes the stretch goals. To be honest, 33k is not enough to make the music massive like a James Bond theme, and 50k is realistically the bottom line for something like that. The Bitmap Brothers: Universe (a book of never-seen before artwork scans) sailed through on 41k, and this project requires so much more work and on a much larger scale, involving lots of technicians and arrangement, so realistically 75k would be much more like the ideal deal. Lets hope somebody somewhere recognises the importance of this history; epic themes and timeless art in itself. |
