@IanCharge: My real amiga, alas, is not with me any more. I used WinUAE to take those screenshots. The sword fights in the castle are a tricky business (whether you go raiding or on a rescue mission), but once you get the knack of it they are manageable... I have to admit they didn't seem so difficult on a real amiga, maybe there IS indeed an emulation problem. To be honest, i never really figured out how to win at jousting... neither on the real thing nor in the emulated version. The ST version may be more playable when it comes to that, I'll have to try that some day.

Maybe
I'll try a little harder at it then ...... Maybe
As for the jousting (Amiga) you are supposed to do this: Let the lance (Big stick) wiggly up and down two or three times and then when you lance is level with you opponents shield press the mouse button ...... Sadly I could NEVER get this to work, real Amiga or otherwise |

Hey, it seems that you had more success with DoTC than me as far as emulation is concerned.
I use WinUAE to play it but it has loads of problems. I didnt own the game when i had an amiga but I played it at friends. It seems that when I build a campaign army and use "soldiers", they all dissapear next round. If I use knights, they remain. Also, when they attack me at my castle, and it has soldiers in it, its like they dont exist when the battle starts. Has anyone seen this happen? |

The new version is nicely polished and fairly close to the Amiga version. Has some extras in the gameplay of course. Very nicely done conversion!
