MultiCX latest version, registered
Does anyone have the latest version of MultiCX (is it 2.80?) registered and can share it via The Zone or FTP?
Aminet only has 2.56. |

thanks a lot! just downloaded it and also downloaded prefs for multicx and now i'm playing around.
first try without installing any files, just to make sure not to break anything within my workbench. entered I_AM_REGISTERED=42 tooltype in multicx AND multicx_os3, don't know where it belongs. how to check if it's really registered? about dialog doesn't say anything about registration status. and mcx shell (a new tools menu entry) will run only, if multicx is installed completely, i assume? |

thats a good find, honx. i found a "cracked" v2.78, which does also use this tooltype.
diff is, you dont get any nag requester every 2 minutes. just disable the tooltype, reboot and retry ![]() #1) i did test the aminet version 1st, there were requesters: register: i will || never after 10 requester i pushed never, but now the requester wont come anymore, no matter if the tooltype is set or not. *strange* Last edited by emufan; 11 August 2017 at 23:01. |

well, i would be able to use wbgauge but this i have to deactivate anyway.
wbgauge from multicx causes graphical glitches in connection with birdie... i didn't get any registration-requester yet, no matter if registered-tooltype set. but i still haven't properly installed it, just started from location i extracted it. maybe that's the reason i don't get nasty requester and mcx shell not working? |

I got a requester the first time i tried to save the options. I hit NEVER and never saw it again yet. I also added the tooltype you mentioned. So far running fine, but there is something in my new system causing glitches. Maybe it is iconLib 46, hmmm
Anyway, thanks for providing the info for 280! So many cool hacks and features. |
