i am getting excited...

i've also got the Cumana Floppy Drive being delivered tomorrow along with an RGB scart lead

oh and 10 more DD/DS blanks and the 4gb CF card needed for EasyADF

also blagged a desk from work today...

its gonna work so well, raised shelf for LCD TV, a lower shelf for my A600, then a front shelf for my A1200, both connected via scart

I got this Xbox locally for a tenner... I will keep it as a backup - I couldn't pass it up - it was too nice!

It is perfect and came with two controllers...

I also got some other bits...

A fire SNES converter
A Blaze N64 Converter
3 x SNES games - Jimmy Conners Tennis, Striker, Winter Olympics.
6 x N64 Games - Zelda(Ocarina), 1080 Snowboarding, South Park, Pilotwings 64, Turok Dinosaur Hunter(unboxed), F-Zero-x(box and manual only)
USB Xbox 360 Battery charger
N64 unbranded memory/rumble pack.

All this lot for £8!

!
Wow! That is really nice. Was that a UK special edition? All we got in the states were a Halo green transparent and a lime green Mtn. Dew limited edition.

I bought a C128D - but sold a CSA Magnum 40/4 to fund it . Seeing as I don't really use my 2000, I thought it a good thing to do but I can see that others will disagree

I don't have the 630, just the 620... it'll do
Did the guy have 2 of them or something, or did the high bidder not pay?

See second link in my post above . The problem with having a single name for all forums (like I do) is that people can track your every movement .

Yep, he had a 2nd one and offered me a 2nd chance offer at my earlier bid

We negotiated, it works out at about £250

I know its OTT but its something quite unique, everyone's got an A1200 with a Blizzard but not many people can say they have an A630

I wonder how many were actually made?

Yep I know i'm mad

But I feel like a kid again getting a new toy...

Excellent, what matters is that you're happy and it's worth it for that feeling . It will be the ultimate 600 (well, short of chucking an 1200 in there ) and it's quite amazing that you can build an 600 into something very close to an Amiga 3000 !

I just hope you don't get stung for VAT - fingers are crossed for you!

Since i started to recover my amigas( they were in a dead state for about 10 years completely wasted by mould) , last december, till now i manage te get them to work but...

For my 1200:
1 new keyboard
1 floppy drive (this was before a manage to understand how to modify PC floppy drives, modified 15 by now and they are all working)
1x 4 way device buffered IDE Interface
Kick Rom 3.1
HD Cradle

For my 500:
1 Floppy drive
1 kick switcher
1 Kick Rom 3.1
a few resistors

I'm waiting for a few more stuff, i'll post it later on...
Love can make us do strange things and i love my amigas

I forgot i bought a Catweasel MK4 Plus and a RGB to Scart with audio cable
