How does the "disk swapper" work

I currently use the new WinUAE 0.8.27, and one of the new functions is something called "Disk Swapper". I have only tried it a little myself, but I am not quite sure how to use it.

Lets say I play a game with 10 disks, can I somehow use the diskswapper so I dont have to change the disks while playing, and just do nothing when the game asks for another disk?

Disk swapper doesn't swap the disks automatically for you. It allows you to swap them more easily however. So if you have a game with 10 disks you do this.

1) Double click on the row number you want to insert the disk into (make sure the mouse is in the 'Disk Image' column)
2) A file selecter will come up and you can select the file (ADF) you want
3) Do this for each file (ADF) you want to access
4) Once all selected you can click on, in the 'Drive' column, a file (ADF) to pick which drive you want the disk to be in. e.g. 1 click gives you DF0 and 2nd click will give you DF1
5) Do this for each file (ADF) you want in a drive (upto 4)
6) When you need to swap a disk. Press F12 and click on a file to remove it from the drive and then click on the new file you need inserted. and hey presto the disk is changed.

If you play a game alot you can save the config and it will keep the disk swapper info.
