Problems with my expanded A1200
I'm having a couple of problems with my A1200 and new ACA1221 when certain games are loaded. I'm kinda new to the Amiga scene so from the video would this need the timing fix?
It does it on anything with mouse control and even a few non-mouse games. Bubba-Stix, Turrican, Flimbo's Quest etc. I've tried all the whdload ToolTypes to see if it helped but nothing differs. [ Show youtube player ] You can see a clearer version of the mouse here: [ Show youtube player ] Amiga 1200, ACA1221, 28mhz, 64mb ram, WHDLoad 18.1, WB Classic Lite. 3.0 roms. If I recall, after 10 boots in trial, it no longer works as trial (jumper does nothing).

It's driving me mad! At first I thought it was to do with the aca1221 but this doesn't seem to be the case. Last edited by prowler; 06 October 2015 at 22:50. Reason: Renamed thread. |

My A1200 does this kind of glitches too. Cursor sprite kind of jumps a little bit. Changing resolution didn't help. What kind of helped once was cleaning of power supply. But it began again.

I'm also having issues with my ACA1221, but I'm fairly sure it's me doing something wrong. Now, I have an ESCOM A1200 with Classic WB and 3.0 roms. I managed to install ACATune (the newest one v191), but for some reason 60mb fast ram gets added. However, I haven't purchased any upgrades. After this, running WHDLoad gives me a guru meditation (recovarable alert 0100 000C).
The jumper is in "idle" position. I am clueless. Without the card my Amiga works as before, and also without ACAtune it doesn't crash like this. Any ideas what to do? |

Is it definitely in idle mode? You get 10 trials of having everything unlocked. This is 10 power off and on trials. They don't go down from a restart. http://wiki.icomp.de/wiki/ACA1221
Also where are you putting the code in the startup-sequence? |

I'm positive about the jumper position. I also tried without it, since it's basically the same thing.
This is acatune -status: http://www.picpar.com/fe7b This is my startup: http://www.picpar.com/ge7b And finally, this is the error message: http://www.picpar.com/he7b I think I'm hijacking your thread and my issues are probably not on topic. I'd really welcome any advise, though. I guess Amigakit has some kind of support I could contact? |

C:ACAtune -Maprom ** -Maxmem >NIL: Then at the very end of the startup sequence before the load WB bit I have put: C:ACAclock s 3 so that it loads my clock speed to 28mhz. Last edited by Delbhoy79; 07 October 2015 at 20:30. |

Delbhoy79 your S-S is wrong. The Acatune line has to be the first.
