WO2097 requires Warp3D - does this work in 4.1 under WinUAE?

AFAIK the only graphics card supported in the PPC emulation is PicassoIV, which of course doesn't have any 3D acceleration features. So 3D accelerated stuff is out of question basically. Unless Wazp3D would happen to work (fast enough), but I doubt it...

No, the Amiga port requires Warp3D. Wazp3D might be able to fill in, but I don't know how well it will run...

There is *only* a Workbench 3 version that also works on OS4.

wipeout 2097 pc version runs way too fast on nowadays machines, even on vm.

DOSBox emulates the CPU instead of just running a virtualisation, and lets you throttle the emulation so excess speed shouldn't be an issue.

i meant pc (personal computer, not amiga), not ppc.
and amiga version of wipeout is only ppc, no 68k.

I think WipeOut in PSX emulation is the best way to use it on a personal computer at this point.

To be fair, the Amiga version has many advantages over the Wipeout version, such as much better draw distances, resolution etc., although the PSX version has the best soundtrack of all versions.

I was under the impression DOSBox had 3DFX emulation at this stage, and it's been able to run Windows for years, despite the name...

PCem has 3DFX emulation, and seems to be quite an effective way to retrogame.
