X-Copy - always think it was up to version 12 or 13 last time i used it on an Amiga.
I remember a whole group of us used to go to local car boot sales on Sundays then spend the afternoon copying for everyone along with fish and chips and the proverbial bong! .... ah the memories ... Then the PC came along and it kinda phased out .... ah well. I always felt the amiga was a much more social machine. |

Syncro Express III and 4 copied everything i threw in - but it could take 15 mins or more - my DF1 speed wasn't too close on DF0.

Well as most of the titles I used had there copy... shall we say... bypassed? I used White Lightning a hell of a lot as it was the quickest thing since sliced bread...
It came on disk with quite a few other copiers - can't remember it now but it was something like CJs utils disk or something like that...ah good days! |

X Copy def worked the best for me, though others like Project D and Lockpick were pretty good as well.

I'm surprised that there's only one post mentioning Nib. Nib was my standby until I got XCopy, it was nice and tunable and was very, very good for a software-only copier.
I never had a hardware-based copier. My originals have largely rotted and I had no way to back the tougher-protected ones up. =/ |

Hmmm I think I still have a Cyclone cable here. I seem to remember I didn't have much success with Cyclone. Can't remember what version of the software I had.
Can someone zone the latest one please.... |

Unfortunately I can't remember the name anymore, but it came with a hardware dongle, and I backed up almost all the games with the protections making that aweful noise.
Edit: found it now. should have checked X-Copy instead of Other. Last edited by sw2001; 24 December 2006 at 20:18. |

Disco-scopie 3.0 by ESAT Software France. It was the best tool available
to copy and edit protected tracks at this time in France. It's rare and protected track 79-83. Last edited by dlfrsilver; 12 May 2007 at 00:33. |
