Hello frikilokooo,
I've put this in The Zone! for you: ... Argus (1995)(Burlock, Craig)(PD)[a2][AMOS].zip Not sure if it's the complete game or not but it's larger in size than the one you linked to at Ami Sector One i.e. 456KB vs. 381KB |

Its time to call in the AGTW Team and Mulder and Scully to find the full version. The truth is out there.

This game like many others that you had to send money to the developer for receive game complete version. It's difficult to obtain unless you contact with the author or he has uploaded the game to the network I think.

Or someone bought it and ripped it or cracked it or just simply ADF'd it.

You get this screen after completed the first level:
So maybe this is the full game after all. You just need the registration code! Another game that asks for code after some levels is Herman. The code for that could be cracked. Wonder if this also could be cracked? Last edited by hipoonios; 09 September 2017 at 14:30. |

I'v just found out how to get unlimited ships with cheat engine:
ship# = Incrementing Ship counter (decimal numbers) 6 = 46 5 = 47 4 = 48 ... 1 = 51 and last = 52 53 = Game Over To search for the ship count address with Action Replay, use, at start of the game: ts !46 then exit with x, loose a ship and reenter the cartrige, and type t !47 it will show 1 possible address, which is then the number of ships. The value is binary 2e for decimal 46. Good luck. Last edited by Dan; 12 September 2017 at 16:22. |

Yes, clenched cracked Herman. Guess you misunderstood because of my bad English
I tried Argus yesterday and your crack works fine. You removed the entire register screen! Awesome! I have played 5 levels so far using the easier (1.2) version. I have not compared the difficulty of the two versions, but I think it is still hard for most people. Also funny that the author suggests to play on NTSC/60hz because he thinks it is too easy on PAL/50hz. The scrolling looks smooth but the frame rate is only 25 fps (30/NTSC), but the rest is 50/60 fps. The collision detection is not very good either and it would be better if it had some music. Still nice to see a AMOS game with smooth scrolling and decent graphics. Thanks again for the crack! Last edited by hipoonios; 11 September 2017 at 18:47. |

Have now completed all levels, so can confirm that all levels can be played.
Found the following bugs: - You can not get the laser weapon (the red icon with 'L'). Nothing happens when you take it. - The end screen/sequence is loading twice. - The end screen says: Completion Bonus: 20000, but score gets not added. Nothing serious and I'm sure these things are bugs and not related to the crack. |

I've zoned an (entirely experimental) CD32 build.
- Based on the Ross crack / 1.2 - In game music using a rip of the title music played back with an external tool, though looping seems to not work at the moment (could come back and have a second look at this later). Also the title music still plays in game (so they overlap in a not particularly pleasant way). - Not tested on real hardware (yet) Not sure if there's much interest in it being finished off? In any case what I've done is there. |
