OS 3.9 MCX issues, MCP needed?

Hi,

I have ClassicWB 3.9+BB3/4 running on my Amiga 1200. Yesterday I tried out MCX. Installed it and configured it with MCXPrefs. There is a Workbench option to modify the title and the wbabout screen.
There seems to be a problem with the OS version since it shows only "AmigaOS ?.? CGX". CGX might be ok since ClassicWB uses Cyberbugfix with CGX monitor driver. But the correct version instead of "?.?" would be nice. Also the wbabout window is still the old one and not the MCX patched version.

Do I need to have MCP installed aswell to make MCX fully working?

I think it isn't recommended to run MCP and MCX at the same time but you can try if you really know what your are doing. Because MCP is a bit newer it take care about OS3.9 and MCX was released before OS3.9.
