Game Freezes on Champions of Krynn

I'am playing Champions of Krynn with the Winuae .0.8.8, everything is ok until I cast my first spell then the game freezes, any ideas why??

I got the most updated version of Winuae and I tried Death Knights of Krynn it worked perfectly until I cast the first spell then it froze. I need help!!!!

Have you tried another version (crack) of the game?

Might be a bad image or crack..

Lets eliminate all other posibilities before we assuming it's winuae bug.

Try it with Winfellow as well, if it does the same thing then it quite possibly could be a bad dump.

actually i experienced it too on many Gold Box games, they freezes at the first dying scream. i haven't checked it lately tough

I think this is a compatibility problem. The game crashes when it tries to play a sound effect. You just need to make sure you're using A500-compatible settings.
