@bipstah
the only one i have manage to find is this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CPU-Chip-68030...QQcmdZViewItem its a bit price for BIN, but i am sure you could secure it for £50 (it also includes an 030@50mhz) so alteast you could sell that back on fleabay. of course you could always over clock a 40mhz one (just remember to add a smidge of active cooling) this linkie is for yet another companion CPU and FPU bundle, seems that getting a single FPU is well... hmmm... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CPU-Chip-Motor...QQcmdZViewItem of course bipstah, you could say sod it all and get a 40mhz 040, that has the fpu inside ... it would save me trying to find linkies |

cool thanks.. I only want it so my blizzard is complete and has no spare slots etc..
Next will be a scsi unit, but i'll not use that I don't reckon... and the fpu will be useful for imagine, vistapro etc etc |

Well... I've got a 40MHz one here... buuuuuuttt... I'm using it in an accelerator card... so I don't really want to part with it...
However... if you have some hardware you wanna trade for it I may consider it... (Preferably A500 or A2000 stuff) (Especially if it's a commodore (HAS to be commodore for this project) branded SCSI card for the 2000) |

Have you tried to look for an electro recycling/chip recovery company?
I've bought my 68882 at http://www.demotronic.net (okay over nine years ago but at that time they had lots of 68k stuff) |

For Blizzard 1230/IV you need a 68882 @ 50 Mhz PGA.
Lately, on e-Bay, this is very expensive if bought alone. However, unfortunately FPU on Amiga has little use. You need one only if you want run Hi-level demo or very few utilities. |
