I love the escalating sound effects when you are making impact and the whole pace is just really well done, an excellent game, can't wait for Reshoot Proxima III, I'll be ordering first day for sure.

I agree! Level 1 with that blue plasma effect is also stunning! It is one of my go to games. It does not only look pretty it is very well balanced, fun game to play. Richard for sure know how to make games. I have no doubt Proxima III will be great.

Thank you guys for those kind words. RP3 undergoes some last testing sessions at this very moment. I am pretty positive you will like it.

If you want to have a go for yourself: Looks like RP3 will be playable at South West Amiga Group's SWAG #15 event on September 23rd!

Which keys are your favorite?

The most wonderful @mcgeezer recently prompted me towards implementing keyboard controls in addition to conventional controller support.

I will not be able to implement a modifiable system in time for release, therefore: Which static key mapping would be your favorite for directional keys and two firebuttons?

I like how Retroarch does it with Z and X as fire buttons and the cursor keys for direction.

Reshoot Proxima 3 has gone gold

After only a little more than four years in development, the time has come: Development of "Reshoot Proxima 3" is finished - it's "gone gold"

The release is incoming, I guess.

Thank you all for your kind words. It feels kind of unreal, that in the coming days, I will not modify the code of the game or the attack waves on the maps. :-)

Ooh, keyboard controls. Interesting. You might want to have separate keys for diagonal movement though, some (most?) real Amiga keyboards are quite poor at detecting multiple keypresses at the same time. Usually such multi-key presses end up registering only one of the pressed keys.

I saw Amiga Bill mention that the game would be debuted at Amiga 38 in Germany on Oct 7 and that the team will be on his show on Oct 8. Will we be able to download the digital version worldwide on the 7th? I'm so looking forward to it, feel like a kid again anticipating a release date!

You should be able to buy the digital version on October 7th. Buying the boxed game gets you a download link immediately, too.
