Hi,
just take this macro yesterday with my new Nikon D3200
A1200 ROM change

The figures are from my railwork set but they fit well in the A1200 board .

Hope you like the work

Thanks everyone.

It was hard to pick the angle. Lights/shadows are difficult, i had to put 2 lights, and use a big flash not pointing to scene to cut all (or almost) all shadows.
Still hard to manage macro with flash.
I was going to use a light box, but the Board didn't fit in, so i had to use other light sources and mix with the flash
f/20 ; 6 seconds photo. Iso 400.

It was worth the visit here tonight just to see that photo!

Edit: It reminds me of when one of my workmates took a photo of his Canon T70 camera and some lego men holding cotton wool swabs, positioned (one of them on a ladder) so it appeared that they were cleaning it.

I was working for an optical testing laboratory at the time, and he had the photograph enlarged to poster print size and mounted it on the wall in our office, much to the amusement of our colleagues.

I also did some works with lego before, you can take great pictures with lego in real sets.
