Ibrowse website finally down....

After being unavailable for purchase for nigh on 2 years, it would seem that the web page is no more...

They just had some problems with the site, Amiga people always think the worst when a site is down a litle while .

I've never understood why they stopped selling it. What kind of business has a product that they don't want to sell? Particularly a business with a gradually declining target audience.

They used to have someone selling it for them (iospirit) when they decided to leave the Amiga market (iospirit) they were left on theyr own and dont seem to keen on selling it themself.

maybe they should contact some retailer like vesalia and retail at a meaningful price like 20 eur. cause as it is, people are using cracks or pirate keys.

Or use a free modern browser on a modern machine to google for a keyfile for an outdated browser on a retro machine!

...or something like that.

You forget one thing... on bigger platforms they earn theyr revenue on other things then the price for the browser... take Firefox for an example do you really think the developers dont earn money on it? on Amiga its impossible without taking cash for the browser itself and still its just a small hobby income! be happy there is a browser to use on your Amiga.

Well yes, and of course if people develop software, and put a lot of time and effort into it, then they have every right to charge for it (even if you can't buy the sodding thing currently)
