Planetemu
You should read the FAQ first but what the hell...!
Follow this link: http://www.planetemu.net/?section=roms&dat=32&page=a and search for Archon & One on One & Archon II (19xx)(PHR-Crew) This site has pretty much everything... |

Thank you, man. My bad on the FAQ, I'll read it now.
I just tried to run it and I get a "software failure" Guru med error. Is there a certain configuration I should know about to get this game running? |

Yes. The game is VERY old, so try Kickstart 1.2 and turn off slow mem.

What are you trying to run it on - unexpanded real Amiga or WinUAE? If WinUAE (or real Amiga with 3.0+), you can try the WHDload install.
I remember playing One on One on the Atari 800. The only fun thing about the game was trying to smash the backboard or get an instant replay. The Amiga version has only marginally better graphics and sound. In one game I got 12 smashed backboards and 13 instant replays! |

Put the file with .rom extension as Kickstart ROM file in the configuration, and everything should work well. Ideally, put them all in a pre-defined or custom folder and in the latter case, consider to adapt the Kick ROM path in the Path section of the configuration. This ought to cause current versions of WinUAE (0.99.x, 1.x) to auto-detect the roms and display a message box when done. |
