Abime.net offline
Ok, I finally was able to jump to netcenter this morning.
The reason why hard-reboot didn't help us to came back to life was a (stupid) warning about our backup disk: "Drive 2 on adapter 0 is predicting a future failure. Press any key to continue..." So I guess it's time to find a new hard drive Sorry it was long to fix the situation. |

Thanks RCK
Don't worry about the length of time, the main thing is EAB and the Abime.net servers are now up and running again |

Good job.
Not sure if it is known or not, but accessing the forums via http://eab.abime.net/ gives an error: "The requested URL /main.php was not found on this server." On the other hand, accessing it via: http://eab.abime.net/?styleid=1 (link found in the main abime page) works fine. |

It's been a long five days without EAB, which made me realize, just how addicted I am to this place.
Thanks RCK for bringing it back to life. |

What kind of harddrive does EAB need? SPS and KryoFlux would like to donate one.

I'm just pleased it was a proper technical problem and not some type of attack being made, there have been enough of those in the past especially on a couple of satellite forums that I go to.
Thanks RCK for getting the problem identified and for getting the forum up and running again |
