I seem to be having increasing glitches where I have popped everything but it doesn't finish the level. Yesterday I had to let the bad time monster kill me to move on, but today even that didn't work. I ran all round the level to see if there was anything invisible but to no avail. Hmm. This is on my 2nd amiga not my tower.

Probably helps if you actually mention which one of these you are using:
  • pink's final floppy disk version?
  • ross's unlimited lives and 2nd button floppy disk version?
  • Alpha One's unlimited lives and level select floppy disk version?
  • jotd's WHDLoad version?
Not to mention Amiga or emulated setup might help...

And a really stupid question from me. Is there a whdload release with 2nd button and NTSC support? I kinda think that's only on adf, but I could be wrong. Thx!

Yep, sorry for the lack of info. I am using the official whdload version on a real a1200 b1230mk4 running cwb 3.9. fairly sure I used the final adf, but now I think about it maybe I used Ross as the base with whdload on one machine. I will reinstall it tomorrow.

I have been successful in that and have added other functions as well.

Two modes for second button, high-score saving, a cooperative game over mode, a modified version of the Alpha1's intro with a tribute to Whittaker and a surprise, and maybe other things.

There was probably glitches remaining in some conditions.
But I could also give a damn because the game seemed to work fine until the end.

I have to find the desire to take a look ...

EDIT: Ah! command line support for scripting the options

mrupp is the beta tester of the latest version, I've to check messages from him.
Or he might step in here on the thread to report where i was with the changes; he probably remembers better than me, I got lost in other things ...

Hi All
Was the version with the limited 2 player lives ever released? (I may have missed it) as the whole unlimited lives has taken away the fun from playing this with my kids, although I still enjoy the single player game.
Cheers

This is brilliant! My daughter loves it.
Well done.

Played a couple of times now but I found a glitch last night (aYs_TinyBobble.adf).
When collecting a pink/red potion around level 9 that fills the screen with flowers to collect for points. We got to almost all of them (about 12 left) and the screen glitched then moved on to the next level. The remaining flowers stayed for every level after.
The screen would glitch at the end of every level onwards with the scrolling.
I'm using a A600 with Furia loaded through the gotek drive.
Otherwise runs silky smooth, makes the original version look pants.

Finally gave this game a go. Very nice conversion! I couldn't finish it tho, because...

...my game got stuck as well. I killed all enemies on level 29 but the game never proceeded to the next level. I was playing the trainer by Alpha One/Flashtro on a real A1200 (+b1230IV).

I haven't tested this yet, but the original theme tune to Bubble Bobble brings back many fond memories of youth lol... does this come with the same theme tune?
