AmigaBill's streams are always watchable as a VOD after the live stream.

It's my little gratitude that someone finally started doing beat em up gender on Amiga, that was so overlooked in the past decades.

And will buy the game when it's out, of course.

Hmmm, I guess this is really 8pm in the UK as it's BST (British Summer Time) and not GMT...

But now thanks to an exclusive heads up reveal. We've been told that Pixelglass and the team behind 'Worthy' in cooperation with BitBeamCannon and Enable Software, are ready to announce to the community, a mind blowing incredible new Amiga 500 brawler that they've been secretly working on called ' Metro Siege '.

Now since watching the live stream I have to say that this is going to be an incredible new game. Looking very professional. I'm not a fan of brawler games myself, but this will definitely be a lot of fun.

Good luck and thanks for bringing such a gem to the OCS Amiga!

Here is my thoughts.

Mike was awesome, and so the Bill...
What I'd like to encourage everyone, is Mike thoughts about Amiga future, and future pixel artist, and the ability that they can throw their time, and producing, at the same time, games for Amiga, and some more (less) advanced systems.
He even, somewhat, share his thoughts that they will be glad to share their engine, with anyone that is serious. What else, we could ask? So, the whole idea is that we introduce some more people into this world, while these people earn (money wise), even they aren't in Amiga world (but could contribute to it ).

I am a dreamer - yes, but I am still highly hipped.

There is one thing I didn't like:
Is that Mike was mentioning, is that they had no plans for additional weapons, and his question: "What game did really improved on that"?
My answer would be: Many!
From Final Fight (let's remember Cody's amazing knife skills), across, Captain Commando Baby robot (that get's into another robot), to Punisher, where is almost impossible to go thru the game, without weapons.
From the other hand, they plan to implement second player as AI, and if I can choose: I'd rather choose weapons besides stupid AI.

Everything else I've heard - Perfect

Even 25 fps don't bother me.
With tricks, it really looks like 50 fps.

Yeah, I'm not sure about the 2nd player A.I. option either.

Watching AmigaBill play, and with the 2nd player A.I. started... it just wiped out all enemies and was afterward trying to push the screen forward.

Please don't worry about how the player AI is currently configured, it's mainly used for automated testing. We thought it would be good to let Bill use it so people could see the way the games performs with 2 players and a full compliment of enemies and objects.

If we do include computer controlled Co-op it will be balanced and definately be the sub-ordinate player.

I am sure AI would be perfect at the end.
But do we really need it?

My (very) humble suggestion:
Drop the AI (friendly) ideas now, and focus on finishing this masterpiece.
Weapons or no... doesn't matter.

- I very much like the idea that third character is unlocked after you finish the game.

Questions:
Will there be some Intros? Outros?
I guess finishing the first game would lead up to huge cinematic about third player?
(well, that's least what I hope about).

Keep out the great work!

I hope that the AI is not too stingy. If you put a slap on him without it being voluntary and he tries to give it back to you ...

The AI.. even now... looks to me like any brawler AI (from arcade) ... not better, not worse...

They pretty nailed that one so far, imho.

I like the system for constructing the characters from small "parts"... that's really the only way you could have fitted so much in 512k/512k

I must admit I don't like the idea of have an unlockable fighter. I usually hate unlockables when they are about gameplay (unlockable characters/levels/weapons/game modes etc - if they are just cosmetic then fine). And it's even worse because then 2 players have just 2 options to choose from the beginning.

I also think weapons do add to the whole experience, bringing more variety to the table. But like it was said on the live stream, between weapons or a huge selection of moves for my character, I'd have more moves any day. I actually am kinda... scared from the number of moves you have... I've seen... special move, dash attack, low attack, back attack, normal "combo" attack, grab, throw, two different jumping attacks, block... damn, even 2 buttons seems to not be enough now
